The first India Packaging Show was held at Pragati Maidan with great success. It covered the entire range of packaging equipment, materials, services and innovations. Solutions to brand theft, Pharma packaging, Emerging Trends and corrugated packaging were all covered in the four sessions of the accompanying conference.
AIFMP’s election meeting at Amritsar saw a record attendance. Image personalization and artistically aggressive campaigning strategy bore results and Manoj Mehta walked away with a resounding majority to become the new President with B.L. Srinivasa as his Secretary, and Govind Bhargava as the Treasurer. Congratulations to the new team which has taken over amid great expectations for reliefs from the government in various sectors and development of the industry.
DPA has announced its Second “North India Awards for Excellence in Printing” to be held on 10th February 2007 in Delhi. Calls for entries have already been sent out and what better encouragement than to have your work appreciated and applauded at a public forum. So get your best work out for the grand competition!
Winter is always a happening season in the capital. Come Diwali, to Holi we hope to catch some big printing & allied events right here and right then!
